female, nineteen, student.
little by little, you're just letting yourself become [you].
she seems so cool, so focused, so quiet, yet her eyes remain fixed upon the horizon. you think you know all there is to know about her immediately upon meeting her, but everything you think you know is wrong. passion flows through her like a river of blood.
she only looked away for a moment, and the mask slipped, and you fell. all your tomorrows start here.
luckily, we never took any photos together. i’m not a photogenic kinda of person and you just never wanted your photograph taken, so the occasion never arose.
but, the places we’ve been. all the places that i spent years going to as a kid slowly became the places we went together, or rather, the places we dreamed of going to. in a few short months, we had planned our lives together, wrapping and intertwining to the point where it was almost impossible to determine where mine left off and yours began.
and hell, i knew it would hurt, the day you broke me, but i never thought it would be that bad. i went from a confident young woman to a scared little girl, frightened of the future and the world that she was part of. she became motionless while everything moved around her at breakneck speed, a stone statue in an ancient greek garden.
